A small kid waving a stick around appears to form even the bravest folks suddenly see visions of disaster. A ‘no wiggling with sticks’ policy appears to be the simplest thanks to avoid the state of affairs wherever one child’s eye balls is somehow skewered onto the tip of another child’s stick.

The stick becomes a fishing pole, a sword, a lightweight sabre, a wand, and monsters big arm with clawed fingers on the end…. And whereas i’m wincing at the thought of all those attainable injuries my youngsters ar busy enjoying, imagining, downside finding, operating along and learning.
So I’m taking a deep adult pogo sticks breath, I’m swing on my massive lady lingerie and being brave regarding this.
Yep, i’m about to let my youngsters play with sticks.
Sure, there’ll be some limits. I don’t assume even i’m prepared for innumerable massive sticks with innumerable kids in a very little space…. however outside, with innumerable area, and a touch of direction and explanation? I’m willing to handle the results and let my kids take a couple of risks for the sake of learning and sheer enjoyment!
